The units of competency covered in three day interactive workshop have been specifically selected to align with and build on the learnings from our Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor five day course. The course has a particular focus on continual improvement of quality, environmental, and risk practices, highlighting strategies to be used at relevant levels and functions within an organisation.

Specifically, participants learn the principles of risk management in accordance with ISO 31000:2009, tools for ensuring quality objectives are met through continual improvement strategies, and approaches to effectively implementing organisational sustainability.

Learning Outcomes

Participants, after the successful completion of this course, will have the tools and knowledge to be able to manage continual improvement, risk management strategies and risk-based auditing, and policy and procedure writing for sustainability. Participants will receive a Certificate for BSB51607 Diploma of Quality Auditing.

It is important to know that all course work and assessments are conducted and completed during class hours, there is no homework. Certificates are issued promptly upon the completion of the course.

This course includes complimentary copies of ISO 31000, as well as all learning materials and refreshments.

Prerequisites

In order to attend the 3 day workshop for the Diploma of Quality Auditing, candidates must have also completed our Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor 5 day course.

The Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor course provides the candidate with the following competencies:

Assessment

During the course, participants will complete a series of workshops which form part of the assessment. Upon the completion of each module, there is a short multiple-choice exam which assesses the knowledge and understanding of each area of knowledge. Participants receive continual assistance and feedback from the trainer. There is no additional assessment to be completed after the course.



Qualification

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a Certificate for BSB51607 Diploma of Quality Auditing.

In addition to the Diploma certificate, participants will receive a competency report which stipulates the units of competency used to complete the Diploma.

Who should attend

This course is designed for those wishing to expand upon their current auditing qualifications and to solidify strategies which assist businesses in maintaining their Quality, Environmental, and OH&S certification. Specifically, it is suggested for those who:

  • need to create and implement an IMS
  • wish to expand on their existing auditing pool of knowledge
  • are involved in the Quality, Environmental, and/or OHS management process
  • are managers responsible for their IMS and IMS auditing
  • wish to consolidate their existing knowledge into a formal qualification

A business background is preferred, however prior experience in auditing and management systems is not essential.
